Which of Baltimore’s police districts saw the most accidents for the year? The Northeast District had by far the highest number of vehicle accidents, at 1,442. The Northern District came in second at 1,320, followed by the Northwest District at 1,092 and the Central District at 1,070.

Following up After an Accident

If you’ve been in a car accident in Baltimore, it’s important to have a copy of your accident report. In the city, you can get a copy from the Central Records Section online for $14. You also can request a copy through the mail.

In Baltimore County, you can get a copy through the mail from the Baltimore County Police Department for a $15 fee. You’ll need to download the Police Report Request Form, fill out the required information and mail in the form. It takes approximately two weeks for reports to be processed.

After a Baltimore auto accident, it’s critical that you work with an experienced car accident attorney to ensure that your rights are fully protected. You may think that talking with a lawyer isn’t important if your accident was minor. However, any accident can cause injuries that only manifest later — and lead to legal issues or significant medical bills for you.
